The SGEU 2026 Conference came to a successful conclusion with an inspiring final day filled with academic exchange, institutional dialogue, and moments of celebration.

From 1 to 3 July 2026, the University of Catania will welcome scholars from across Europe and beyond for the 13^th Biennial Conference of the ECPR Standing Group on the European Union (SGEU), one of the leading international events dedicated to European Union studies.

The conference will bring together researchers from political science, law, economics, sociology, history, and related disciplines to discuss the major challenges facing the European Union in a rapidly changing global environment. 

Last 26 April the European institutions agreed a roadmap to achieve 'One Europe, One Market' by end of 2027.
