CoE Governance

CoE Director 

Prof. Stefania Panebianco is the CoE Director. She has the responsibility of WP1 Project Management and Coordination and chairs the Management Board. She monitors the activities of the CoE organisms.

CoE President

Prof. Fulvio Attinà is the CoE Mentor Emeritus. He supervises the CoE activities in his role of CoE President.

CoE Junior Assistant

A CoE Junior Assistant is recruited to assist the CoE Director in all management tasks.

A CoE web manager [WeM] will be recruited to manage the website and act as social media manager.

The Management Board 

The Management Board [MaB], chaired by the CoE DIR, is composed by all WP LEADS and the WP1 co-lead.

The Teaching Committee

The Teaching Committee [TEC], chaired by prof. Carammia, the WP2 LEAD, is composed by one senior scholar of each Sicilian partners, UNICT, UNIPA and UNIME, and by a small group of the CoE international academicstaff (2/3 members). It is appointed during the setting-up phase of the CoE. The TEC supports the DIR and the MaB in the yearly teaching planning and implementation

The Research Committee 

The Research Committee [ReC], chaired by prof. Di Mauro, the WP3 LEAD, is composed by a small group of the CoE international academic staff (3/5) and is appointed during the setting-up phase of the CoE. It is in charge of the actual implementation of the research activities, with the specific task of setting up the Observatory on Peace & Conflicts, namely identifying the virtual databases and adequate sets of indicators

The Observatory has a Director [ODir], prof. Francesca Longo, who is supported by the ReC

The Quality Assurance Committee

The Quality Assurance Committee [QAC], chaired by prof. Memoli, the WP4 LEAD, will annually review the project and identify any adjustments required to improve the project. Proposed members of the QAC are the members of the IAB who have an expertise in the management of EU funds and Jean Monnet activities (Professors Kaunert and Zaiotti).

The Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee [OuC], chaired by prof. Fontana, the WP5 LEAD, has a key role to guarantee that the communication plan is functional to spread out information to the potential beneficiaries of the CoEactivities. With the help of the WeM, the CoE activities will be advertised via media and social media channels

The International Advisory Board 

The International Advisory Board [IAB] will provide the CoE with independent methodological and theoretical advice to maximise the academic and policy relevance as well as the dissemination impact. The IAB iscomposed by prof. Christian Kaunert (DCU), Prof. James Sperling (Akron Univ.) and prof. Ruben Zaiotti (Dalhousie University).

The Experts Hub [EH] brings together experts, practitioners and NGOs that can contribute to the drafting of the Best Practice Guide.
